Strategic Orientation Report 2023 from Cigref : “10 Disruptions on the Horizon 2030-2040.”
French Version
During its 53rd General Assembly, Cigref unveiled the 2023 edition of its Strategic Orientation Report, “10 Disruptions on the Horizon 2030-2040.”
This Strategic Orientation Report (SOR) addresses concerns and the need for anticipation and preparation in the face of crises, as expressed by Cigref members, and marks the beginning of a new cycle of forward-thinking. It is structured around ten assumptions of disruptions related to the digital domain by 2030-2040.
Here, disruptions are defined as “events or phenomena capable of fundamentally altering the natural, political, economic, or social environment of a society or organization.”
Without aiming to be exhaustive or to present the state of the art on each of the topics covered, this report, therefore, seeks to establish a watchful radar for the Cigref member organizations and all readers to navigate uncertainty, prepare for the crises and disruptions of tomorrow, and investigate the causes and consequences of the envisaged situations, in the digital domain, primarily at the European level.
These ten assumptions were identified by the permanent Cigref team and Futuribles based on the monitoring conducted over the past three years within the framework of the SOR (Strategic Orientation Report), and then prioritized by the Strategic Orientation Council (SOC). We made sure that all disruptions reflect the five major digital challenges identified in 2020. However, we have partly revised the scope of these five transformation areas to adapt to the new issues addressed by Cigref in recent years.
